For Orthopedic Shoes for Overpronation & Flat Feet (Known as Supinated Shoes in Europe):
Our orthopedic shoes are specially designed to help children with overpronation (when the ankle rolls too far inward). The corrective sole gently shifts the ankle back into the proper position by being slightly higher on the inner side of the heel—about 4.5 mm higher than the outer side. This subtle adjustment helps guide the foot into healthy alignment, reducing strain and supporting proper arch development as your child grows.
It is very important that this position be maintained correctly. For this, it is necessary to use the long, reinforced crust placed in the heel part of the shoe. This supports the ankle from the outside, prevents it from turning inward, and gives stability and security to the child’s foot. With the corrected position, the special heel part also helps form the arch and stimulates the weakened plantar muscles to work actively.
